What level of a mechanic does one need to be to use the service manual? Is it written assuming you've tore bikes apart before? I'm just saying a "Spyders for Dummies" would be on my bookshelf.

Not exactly straight forward... but if you know how to use most tools, the service manual serves as a guideline. This is not written like a Haynes service manual, but it is written in English so at least you'd understand part of it.

Mainly change my plugs and wires and an oil change.
