All RTs an STs are the same procedure. If the fault is no longer active it does not show any more and then can only be seen with BUDS as occurred. Maybe the fault was gone before you checked.

Brake signal vs brake pressure correlation check failed.

Check your fuses. Not sure which one on your RT.

yeah , still had that REd check engine all the way to the dealer (they are - lucky me- only 4mi away). it was running lean on bank 1 fault which in turn meant
my 2 hoses cracked or came off again-same problem everyone has and carry spares. 3rd time replacements. but , I tried dozen times no workee workee!

Hmmmmm.....I would have recommended you pull the battery cables back off, clean both positive and negative connectors thoroughly with baking soda in a small container, wire brush them, put them back on and then apply a very light coating of grease to keep corrosion down. Then if you still had a Check Engine light, clean the ground point under the seat (2013s I think) on older (pre-2013) I believe the ground point is near the front of the Spyder. Spyders have a very sophisticated electrical system and many sensors.

All complex electronic systems require four things in order to function as designed:
    1. Good input signal (if it is a sensor or controller)
    2. Good Output (if it is a sensor or controller)
    3. Good and stable power (positive voltage from the battery and or possibly a positive reference voltage)
    4. Good Ground

Any of these not present can generate spurious results forcing the ECM to believe there is a problem and hence the Check Engine Light.
My bet is on the battery ground or the bike's ground reference point is causing the issue since it showed up after you replace the battery.

Check the above points and if it still throws a code then take it to the dealer where then check your with their BUDS.

    Good luck!
