Botton panels
I putting a new sway bar on my STS, with a lot of difficulty. It isn't easy when proper tools aren't on hand.
Any way the question is do I have to get an alignment done. If I leave the bottom panels off will I void the warranty
-
Hi, no, you do not have to have an alignment done but we have yet to come across a Spyder that has been properly aligned from the factory. For something to void your warranty it has to be proved that what you did caused the problem that you are seeking warranty coverage for.

Alignment
I must be one of the first then, I had an 8 hour round trip to get my alignment checked and everything was spot on. I only had it checked for peace of mind as I had read about alignment problems on every forum that I visited all over the world.

Was it checked by someone with the Rolo/Outlaw System? If not, you may have wasted your time.

OK, so I may or may not need an front wheel alignment, about much would I expect to pay for it...
The dealer wanted 387.00 to install the sway bar for my STS. I went to the local rental place and rented a jack and jack stands.

$120 to $130 for the Rolo. $387 to install the sway bar! WOW! Good choice to do it yourself. I installed mine in about 1-1/2 hours. I do not think leaving the panels off the bottom could possibly void any warranty. I removed mine 2 weeks ago. It has not been too warm out so far but I think it has helped with some heat. I do think the cat bypass is the key to prevent a lot of the heat in the first place.

Blackmans near pottstown PA. Did my sway bar on my 2013 RT for $80.00 bucks. They also did my alignment. They have a great service department.

I took the bottom panels off my STS, drilled some big holes all in them (like 1-1/2" rd) and snapped them back on.
I thought maybe letting some hot air escape while still having a bit of protection under there.

I was told by RON who sold me the sway bar that leaving the panels off would let the motor run cooler. I haven't googled it yet but is there a dealer or shop that works on CAN AM in Pottstown?? Its not so far from me.

Leisure sportsnturf? I have not used them. I purchased from Blackmans. I did however purchase my snowmobiles from Hollingers sportsnturf which is affiliated with Leisure. So far I like Blackmans, It may be worth the drive to go there, the 2 are not very far apart.

Good choice with the service, I like Blackmans so far. I looked at this way when I decided to purchase. Blackmans sell motor cycles & Spyders first, and a lot of them. Then they also sell some other stuff. The 2 Sports and Turf places sells ATV's, Snowmobiles and lawn equipment first and they also sell Spyders.
The decision was easy for me.

Yes I agree with you I didn't know about Blackmans when I purchased my bike if I did I probably would've bought my bike there also. I believe Blackmans has a much better service department
