    Default ST "tank bag" solution?

Of course the frunk is a wonderful thing that keeps all your ryding goodies fairly accessible, but we are looking for some sort of small "tank bag" that fits on the black plastic panel between the front of the seat and the rear of the switch console just behind the handlebars. This would be to keep an extra set of gloves, garage door opener, sunglasses, etc. -- the sort of thing you don't want to stop and open the frunk to access. Ideally it would have a detachable map pocket on top as well.

Anyone found a good product solution for this?

I got a Hopnel bag that fits the RT's glove box but I popped the black piece up and strapped this bag to it. Works great.

That could work, where did you get it? Googling didn't reveal much.

My dealer attached the Can Am bag from my prior model Spyder. I liked that bag and it's a good size.

    Default Amazon

Did a quick google search and found this. Looks like it may be decent.

OOPS! Looks like it will not fit the ST's or RT's. I think 2012 and older RS's only.

Darn, that Nelson-Rigg bag looks perfect! I checked the installation instructions and indeed the forward strap can't be used on an ST. Grr, any others found a good solution?

I have the Nelson-Rigg on my ST-S and love the convenience of this bag.

I got this Marsee bag with a magnetic mount and used the Kewl Metal Gizmo mount for the RT as a plate to stick it to. Fits great, looks great and you can just pull it off and throw it in the trunk for safe keeping or carry it with you.

The top plastic part is waterproof and I put a garage door opener and a remote control for my camera in there for easy access. You might be able to fit a small phone like an iphone.

Also, you can get a phone bag with a magnetic mount and pull off the tank bank and replace it with your phone or GPS or whatever.

How do you reach the parking brake switch?
And does the strap wrap around the handlebars ok with that shield in there?

Thanks, that may be just the solution we're looking for.

Did the Motocentric Cruiser Tool Bag that's on Amazon work with the dash on your ST and was it easy to install ?

I don't have an ST I have an RS and I attatched the bag to the handlebars right in the middle so it is easy to get to. I keep a bottle of water gardge door opener and such in it.
