    Default Gas gauge display failure

Filled up yesterday in anticipation of Tropical Storm Fay. After fillup, the bars on the gas display went to 0 and the warning light for low fuel came on. Got home OK and shut off and turned on the ignition several times. No joy. A couple of hours later it worked fine. Today I had no bars displayed at first and then it worked again.

Anyone out there having this kind of problem?

I had a similar problem. With mine, the guage wouldn't go to full, and then would show empty real fast. Solution... replace the whole unit that's inserted into the top of the tank. Just make sure they get a good clean seal or everytime you fill up... it leaks.

Thanks, Mark. Will take the Spyder to dealer as soon as the effects of TS Kay subside.
