I started out on a friend's Honda 50. He also had a Honda Super 90. That Honda 50 was a blast riding it all over Atlanta, GA.

My parents wouldn't allow me to have a motorcycle growing up. My Dad sold Life Insurance for a living.

You're making it for that oversight now; aren't you?

Default Road Trip 36 year's ago

This one is from 1978. A buddy and I decided to go from Ohio to Canada in late November. It was an exciting trip and we hit some snow and icy patches but all in all enjoyed it.

My ride then was a '78 Suzuki GS 1000 dressed out with Vindicator fairing and bags. Note the Hippo hands, custom front fender and one of my first attempts at striping.
Penny and Rick have owned many motorcycles starting in 1974 with Honda’s, then to Suzukis, Gold Wings and ultimately Spyders.
    ‘74 Honda 360T (pair); ‘78 Suzuki GS 1000 (pair); ‘’82 Honda Aspencade; ‘84 Honda 400; ‘87 Yamaha 1100; ‘99 Honda Valkyrie; ‘01 Suzuki Burgman(triked); ‘02 Honda GL 1800(triked); ‘10 Spyder RTSE; ‘11 Spyder RTSM; ‘12 Spyder RTSL (pair); ‘20 Spyder RTL (current)

Great pictures. I note all have big smiles. I can't share any early pictures, the 60's and 70's albums are missing. They were good times though.

That's what happened to my pictures. My ex decided I didn't need them.
