Bi-Weekly Spyder Event in Indy
Hello Gang, anyone interested in meeting for a spyder-social event every other week? We have several great establishments we can frequent. It will give us opportunities to schedule rides, do a meet and greets and finally get the Indiana Chapter together.

1st Meeting Agenda and Timing
Do we want to wait until the weather allows us to Spyder to the meeting (which looks like it could be sometime in June) - or - do we just want to get together for lunch (even it we "cage" to lunch) to meet and talk about the olden days when everything wasn't covered with snow?
I'd be up for a lunch meet soon...at least seeing all of you would restore my hope that Spring will, eventually, happen. Anyone else up for a lunch in the next week or so?

I know of a good BBQ place in Trefalgar. But I'm open to suggestions.

Early meet & greet
not a bad idea, even if it has to be in a cage. I'm game.

I was hoping for warm weather
I was thinking in April when 60+ degree weather. But I am game to meet with the gang. We really need to get the proverbial ball rolling... tires spinning on our chapter.

What I get for multi tasking, it's Trafalgar, where SR 252 and SR 135 meet. Best brisket I've had in Indiana, except my own.

Based on the locations of everyone in this thread so far...
Suggestion:
Patty doesn't disclose a city, but everyone except Retread seems to be at or around the north side of Indianapolis. If we were to pick a place convenient to the interstate...and perhaps on the West side, it wouldn't be too far for Retread...and I suspect we're going to be in his neighborhood a lot this summer, since the 'twistys' are mostly down south. Just about every exit off of 465 has a bunch of restaurants...if we opt for this approach for our first meeting, does anyone have a preference? Perhaps a place with a broad menu would be good for the first time. ???
Just typing out loud here...

Friday? Saturday? Monday?
I have a commitment from 1:00 to 2:00 pm that I can't get out of on Friday... I could meet after 2:00 pm.
Saturday and Monday are also looking good for Spyder weather, but I don't know how many of you (non-retirees) can break away on a Monday.
I know we can put this together.

Ordinarily I’d be available, but I’ll be in training on Monday. Will another day work?

"Firm" plans
I'll definitely be out on the Spyder tomorrow (with the exception of 1:00-2:00 for my appointment) as well as Monday and Tuesday (with no restrictions)...No special plans, but if anyone wants to meet up, I'm game. I'll be checking this forum but if you want to PM me, that's okay too.

Why don't you let everyone know where and when you're going to eat lunch tomorrow. Those who are available may show up.

Okay...Lunch tomorrow
I'll have to make it earlier than I might (because I have that 1:00 appointment I mentioned) so I think I'll shoot for 11:00 am at "Hotcakes" which is a full-menu "diner" just south of 86th street on Ditch Road. - I'll have my leather motorcycle jacket either on or over the chair next to me. Hope to see you there.
