GS/RS/S 1/4 mile time slips or 1/4 times?
Anyone have 1/4 mile time slips and/or times? I'm looking to find average 1/4 mile speed of GS/RS/S. I've attached my best times so far & my RS SE5 2012 is all stock. The first pic is solo and the second pic is racing a Triumph Speed Triple; my time is on the right. The third pic is @ the track. My next goal is to capture video @ the track. However, it might be tough to capture video because my track/riding buddies had a hard enough time just getting a pic of me. They are distracted with more important things @ the track...

lol......and yah great fun to run it in the 1/4.........my "NOT fast" times are due to operator skill level........I'm looking for other time slips or times to get a group average & I'll have my individual times & group times to use as baseline measurements to assess skill improvement and improvements as I add performance items

Very nice reaction time on the 2nd slip. They are not the fastest but they sure are fun!

Your right there and your reaction times are good. It's a high 13 sec machine on a good day. Low 14's are pretty typical for us amateurs....

actually 13's and 14's aren't that bad.. my old muscle car from 1968 would do 14.07.. till I messed with it

Since I have an ST can I hang out w the RS crowd? The RT guys seem so much older than me and don't seem to joke around much anymore?

At Spyderfest everyone's family, doesn't matter how you got there, just that you got there.
As far as the Drag Races go, you stay with your own kind. You will have to hang out with the ST crowd and race against them.
Sounds like you are thinking about going more than 200 miles from home? Looking forward to meeting you!

If you don't slow down, they can't catch you..
If you don't give up, they can't win.
What a long strange journey its been.

Interesting only 1 GS/RS/RSS ran the 1/4......is there a current sign up list for drag entries or done the day of racing?

Only one ran in the Stock/Unmodified GS/RS/RSS Class. Competition was stiff in the Modified GS/RS/RSS Class.
Register for Spyderfest, then show up and sign up during the 'Test and Tune' before the official races start.
(That's the way it was last year.)

Do you happen to remember what sort of E.T.s Doc ran last year? I know that his trap speeds were up over 118mph...

I think my time slips are too faded to scan in, however my times were between 13.80-14.20. I went up against Doc once in the during pratice and yes He beat me so his times were better than that.

If I was going to take a guess; I would bet that he was down around thirteen-flat, or even the high-twelves...
