What hiway pegs do you use and why do you like them?

Considering a set for my 13 RTS but there are a few different brands and some have features that others do not, what brand do you have and why did you chose them over others??

I have the NBV (No Bad Vibes) ones from Lamonster, as far as i can tell they are the best ones, couple of different options on them depending on where you want your feet.

I used NBV (no bad vibes) peg brackets and widow pegs from Custom Dynamics on my 2012 RT Limited... I really liked them and they performed well.

Now I have a 2014 with floorboards for the rider....need to check them out before deciding to add highway pegs again....

i'm a BIG FAN of OEM stuff, so my FOOT PEGS are OEM rear pegs from an RS, adapted to be used as front pegs.....

a very simple job to fabricate a cross-over bar, the two uprights, with a couple horizontals to mount the pegs to, weld a couple pieces of angle stock to the frame, assemble everything together, and you're off for a ride.... oh, and paint...
Total Cost: approximately $140... $117 for just the pegs...

NBV because they do not deform the water deflector tuberware when installed ....and they look nice ... And they are not super expensive.

The Seal DLX floor boards have foot rests up front. Much more comfortable than any foot peg I have used and wide enough with heel support to move you foot in any position you want

Thats what hat I was thinkin, why would you need pegs if you have floorboards?

my STS has floorboards, but it would be nice to have something further forward to stretch your legs every now and then.

I went on a 203 mile Ryde yesterday. I used the NBV pegs. Very comfortable. My 2012 RT can give me a warm right foot so I wore my insulated half chaps. It was awesome! You will like the NBV setup.

I added the Utopia drivers backrest and KewlMetal highway brackets with Kury Mini Iso Wings. With the highway pegs set to the right placement, I can stand on them, leaning against my backrest, raising my seat off the saddle about an inch, and ride in that position for miles. My knees are straight, so they're not stressed. I'm leaning against the backrest so my arms and hands are relaxed. I can steer with one or two hands. I'm not standing so high as to look funny or raise my center of gravity too much. Air and blood flow to the areas that need them. As a result, instead of needing to get out of the saddle every 45 minutes, I can ride tank-to-tank, tank-after-tank & day-after-day with this setup. It revolutionized my ability to stay in the saddle with only a fraction of the cost of a new saddle-crapshoot. I've made two 4,000-mile & 10-day rides & have ridden 782 miles in one day with this setup.

I'm a heavy guy and the brackets and pegs hold me well. They come with a couple of links for each side, so you can adjust them to fit your legs.

That is exactly why I put NBV Web Pegs on mine. I'm 6'2" and old . . . I need to change the position of my legs from time to time on long rides. It's great to be able to stretch my legs out.

I like the idea of highway pegs so that I can stretch my legs during those long rides. The position of most of these pegs is too close for me. I have sat on several RS's with pegs, tried different adjustments, and could not get comfortable. Sometimes I reach out and touch my toes to the fenders to get comfortable. Are there any sets out there that might reach out like that? Does anyone know if a set could be mounted on the fender support, and run back behind the fender? If they were close enough to the fender I was thinking they might not cause clearance issues. Any opinions?

+1 for the NVP pegs from Lamont and the Harvey (SpyderPops) heat blocker to keep my right foot from toasting when it is on the peg.

Snoopy...the floorboards on the ST is great...but when traveling more than 200 miles in one day...you want options.....I'll ride with feet on floorboards...switch to toe on floorboards and heel on passenger board.....forward pegs would just give me another option for comfort...I plan to purchase from Spyderpops...NVP with web pegs

Thanks, that was sorta my question...are they made for an ST also, guess so if you plan on getting a set, I'll have to look into them deeper.
