Need Some Quick Ans on Seat Colors
Bob, at Utopia, has my seat apart already and is R&Ding the underneath bracket. He needs to know what colors are used on the various models so he can work out what to use on the
backrest.
I know my RT SE has the two tone black/gray. Do all RT SE's use this?
How about the Limited?
How about the Basic model?
Does anyone know if the frame that the seat rests on, is the same as the '13?

Tip: When I did the same thing you are doing, only for the 2010 RT, I went to my local dealer and got their permission to take measurements on one of their display models. When Bob asked for measurements of gaps between the bottom of the saddle and the frame of the Spyder, I got some Playdough and plastic wrap, made a ball of Playdough, wrapped them in plastic, placed at the point in question and lowered the saddle & sat on it. I then dismounted, lifted the saddle and had a perfect mold of the space in question that I could easily measure.
Here is a photo Bob sent me with what he needed shown:
And here is what I sent back to him, along with measurements of the clay:
We exchanged quite a few emails and pics as we worked together on it. I also sent him the passenger backrest to be used as a model for his stitch design and material selection.
Good luck! It'll be well worth the effort and many SpyderLovers will appreciate your time spent on the project.

Is the Black/dark choc of the same pattern as the RTS?

Hey, I don't see anybody else stepping up to the plate. Many thanks Bob. I've sent your info on to Utopia. He's finished with my seat and it will be back next tuesday. When WX here in the south gets nice again, I'll post some pics of it.
