    Default i am

i am the type of person that looks for the bad in everything i see. i don't want to put a negative spin on this but if parts are going back to see why they failed than there has to be a question as to how many other ones will also.

Not really. They are reacting quite normally considering it's pretty much an all new design.

Identify what you have control over and find peace with what you don't.

Over reaction. They want to see why something failed. Doesn't mean they have a problem..just means they want to know why this one failed, why it wasn't caught, and how they can make sure that doesn't happen again. This is a good thing and common for manufacturers to do when a new product launches like this.

I don't want any problems on the 14's because they need to concentrate on fixing my 13! Any tech that is worrying about a 14 is not getting anything done for my 13....

Well now the confusion sets in the dealer and by me. Read the above bulletin and page 1 says to use Loctite 7649. However when you scroll down to page 4, its says to use Loctite 4976, scroll down some more and it says to use 4679 then again says 4976.

Cal BRP and its a typo on their part, 7649 is the one you need!
Not a good idea to have a dyslexic person type your service bulletins.

Cool Too cold to ride right now anyways, lol.... Of course its not too cold to farkle lol

Well I think we should wait and see, I may have a unique issue but if I do not at least they have something to work with. I was told that they did a lot of testing on this model before it was released. I understand this may be upsetting for anyone with, or about to buy a 14 and I am sorry if I have caused anyone concern.

    Cool Loc-Tit

If you don't to wait you should be available from your local auto parts store, wearing supplier or truck shop.

No it really does not mean that. It only means that the clerk who took the call at BRP didn't have anything in her binder of authorized responses for this particular issue. A rather common call center strategy is to ask for the physical parts so a good and authorized response can be made in the future. This is not a big deal. This IS a sign that BRP's management is doing things the right way.

Is there anything that you don't worry about??

Stress is the biggest factor in heart attacks, think of something positive, Children, grandchildren, the cute blonde up the street, anything on the positive side will make your day more enjoyable and a lot less stressful.

    Default no

after 35 years of working in construction and most of them being a foreman in some capacity, i have to say NO to that question. this is something that can be fixed, BUT! would i want a brand new FIXED bike. NOPE!!!. i went through the new york lemon law twice and won both cases. 1988 with a ford bronco and 1990 with a jeep wagoner, the bronco with oil leaks and the jeep with water leaking into the inside rear of the car. call me paranoid but people will walk all over you if you let them, and i will not let them. right now i am happy with my bike because of the work i did, but i am not riding it right now. but if the heat fix does not work on it once i do start riding i will most likely start to be a complainer again. it has to be good to look at a problem with a new bike and say they will fix it.so best of luck to him and i really hope all works out and that this is not a problem with all the 14's out there.

If The Boss is posting video clips from movies; does that mean that I'm wearing-off on him?
