    Default Went ryding today!

That's right, I went ryding today in MT! sure it took me 1 1/2 hrs to chip my driveway from under all the ice so i could get it out but it was worth it! Now I'm in the Farkle mood!!!!! Here is my list of what I want:
    BRP Comfort seat
    First gear thermo suite
    Rear sports rack
    Trunk rolling luggage
    Rear sports rack luggage
    Touring windshield
Throttlemeister-does anyone have this installed on a 2013 RS? Just wondering how it works? Seems like it would be hard to turn on and off-looks like I would have to use my left hand to turn it on?? Any insight would be great!
And if anyone is selling any of this stuff I sure would be interested!
Let's hope this weather stays good so I can get more miles logged! It was probably just a fluke day tho

My wife's 2008 GS and one of my BMW's have Throttlemeisters. We really like them. When properly adjusted they can be turned on or off while twisting the throttle, with some practice. Frankly, we never turn them off. The throttle should be forcibly turned off every time anyway, and we are used to vintage bikes which almost all had throttle tensioners in the old days. There are other, similar devices which may be a bit easier to turn on and off due to teeth or knurling on the set ring. There are also alternate types of throttle locks, but those may require modifications to fit the Spyder

Good for you getting out there in the weather! BajaRon a site sponsor sells the First Gear One Piece Thermal Suit. Have you checked the For Sale section for the other items? California Scientific makes a nice touring windshield too.

That's a good Mod list to start with. I had the comfort seat & was a nice improvement over stock for that I when thru my local dealer & got it at cost or little more so worth looking into.
Next I would suggest the Madstad adjustable light gray its not too dark for night time riding but great at daytime. Call Mark he will get you setup. I liked it a lot when I had my RS. I tried the BRP touring 25inch windshield & thought it looked like a barn door & took the sportiness away from the RS. head buffeting also. hope this helps.

Lightnin' LeeRoy also took my '12 Spyder RT S out on Wednesday in Great Falls. Had a blast on the side streets with the slush. Now I have to wash all the road grime off.

    Default I went riding too

I hate to bring this up but it was 74 out yesterday afternoon. I am also in a farkel mood
mostly lighting on the rear.... when you start thinking of a new touring windshield.....
go check out the MADSTAD brand, I went through 3 plus the stock, then I got the tall
shield from Madstad I will never go back being able to adjust it up, down forward and back
    is the bomb....

Glad to hear your are rydeing in Montana. We are supposed to hit 38 - 40 degrees above zero this weekend. Our usual January melt. All the snow avalanched off my roof yesterday and the snow is falling off the trees today. Unfortunately, the roads are still covered in black ice--my rydeing nemesis. It does not look like any rydes here--but maybe time to polish some 's this weekend.

75 degrees and brilliant sunshine here in Phoenix. Go with Malstad 25 inch windshield- I have gone through the comfort seat, Corbin and now I have the Russel-day long seat. Best seat I have ever owned.

I have the Throttlemeister on my 08 GS and love it. I bought another used one for my ST, but the handlebars are solid now and it doesn't fit, yet that is.
Yes, I use my left hand to set it, not too bad. I prefer it over the electronic cruise, you can adjust your speed without having to reset it every time.
