Plastic rivets
Completed left side tupper ware removal and install with nothing broken! Except 3 plastic rivets were left over because they were too loose to hold any thing. Should these be replaced? Nothings fallen off yet.

Yeah..!!
they all need to be installed. You can find replacements at some auto parts stores. They do hold parts in place and are not a tight fit like nuts and bolts. But you should not have left over parts..

Plastic rivets won't be loose unless they are broken, improperly inserted, inserted in the wrong location, or the hole in the underlying panel is damaged. I'd take a good look and try to find the cause of the problems. If you need new rivets they can be purchedad at your dealer, and auto parts store, or online.

I agree on replacing if loose. At speed or when the bike flexes it could cause a problem or come loose.

Took one of my mangled rivets in (I really should buy the tool for properly removing these) and the sales representative assisted me by comparing what I had in hand with what they had on the shelf.
This is what I ended up with ---

There are better sources for these rivets, shop around and look under "auto body supplies" I bought a bag of 250 for $11 bucks through the shop.
