Default Mechanically Challanged 2013 RT-S Owner

I built my entire home by myself in 97 days (my wife helped ) but when it comes to turning wrenches my brain goes blank . My lovely bride of 39 years just purchased a heated jacket so we can make the Polar Bear Run in Portland OR. Now what is the best way to supply power for this thing , I need to keep her warm or we won't make 40 years.

    Default you could

you can fuse it and connect it directly to the battery, that way when you get to where your going just un plug yourself and get off the bike. i did that on my wing and my BMW

On the 2013 the battery is in the front trunk so you need a really long cord.

    Default Let's see..!!

having the battery up front poses some problem if you heated garment has a short supply cord. We hooked ours directly to the battery with the cables that came with our heated liners. They came with a fuse inline. We keep the plugs under the seat and hang them out the side when needed. In your case you may need to add wire so as to be able to route the cables back. I like to keep the plugs out so if we get off and forget to unplug they slip apart without damaging anything...should be fairly simple..good luck..!!
