Interesting that you mention the subject. Lots and lots of versions for sure. I still like the original version. Gave that to someone this very Christmas. Linda said it got read three times last night.

We used to have a pop-up book of the original, that we read to our kids every Christmas. Nancy still displays it. It must have been read to me a lot in my youth, too...as I can still recite it by heart.
