I am going to a 2014 RT S from a 2011 RT S. The 2011 has given me no problems.

It took a while but I got the Spyder just the way I like her.
2010 RTS Premier Edition, with upgraded Stability, upgraded Lighting, and upgraded Seating and foot position choice comfort.
All thanks to many of the supporting Vendors on this site.
BRP had to be listening because right out of the gate many here wanted a larger displacement engine--they delivered for 2014
Personally I was fine with what was previously provided.
They now have heated seats and backrest available, they now have floorboards, but no forward position yet provided, (crystal ball says next generation will)
They have completely revamped the symmetrical geometry of the Y platform Spyder to today's perfection.
They are still working on upgraded visibility, which is the sticking point for me upgrading right now.
oppps, sorry my opinions and explanations will have to wait till later, my wife is asking me to empty the trash/ or something similar right now,..
my thoughts to be continued…

Just like Ticketbait, I've got Tornado (2010 RTS SM5 in Timeless Black) dialed in perfectly, even down to the upgraded hex head drain plugs, so I'm planning on staying put.
But that 250 mile range beckons.
Aye, it beckons mightily.......................................... ....................

Gonna ride the 2012 awhile longer
Just got my 2012 RT/LTD the way I want it, I'm a happy camper, don't want to start all over again yet. I want to see if any issues come up on the 2014 RT/LTD. But for now I'll stay with what I have.

Upgrading from 2010 RT to ?. Have no choice since 2010 now has no front end and is owned by insurance company. Still have not made up my mind as to which model and year.

Moving up from a 2010 A&C, that was well-Farkled...
I had some throttle body and TPS issues with it; they were NOT at the root of my decision to upgrade.

Happy with what I have
2011 RT-S, no issues and is just the way I like it. Never an interest on being in the "bleeding edge" of technology, so will be waiting a year or so to see how things are.

I am upgrading from the 2011 limited to a 2014 limited. Loved the 2011 but had computer trouble at 16000 miles and they stood behind it and fixed it also up graded the Transmission.

happy old fart
I'd sure like to upgrade. Had a '10 RTS Premier Edition which spent a lot of time in the shop including five-and-a-half weeks in 2011. Went to a '12 Harley TriGlide 14 months ago. I like the Harley, but I miss the Spyder, especially the SE transmission. Might be posting the TriGlide for sale in the appropriate thread since the two dealers I checked with really don't want the Harley.

Going from a 2013 RT Limited with heat problems. Otherwise, very happy with over 15,000 miles on it this summer.
