Joe, the 2014 RT has the upgrades, the ST is almost the same except for a few new vents.

that's my understanding just the recall items but not really any other changes and I know some members are not real happy with that. I've had all the recall items taken care of on my 13 ST-S and yes I have been lucky to have had no issues with mine at all.

Joe... the OP was asking about the ST not the RT. Only the RT got the bigger engine and added gear. The ST only got the additional vents, not sure about the fans but highly doubt it got that too because it is the same 990 engine.

The change in the vents will this help or fix the heating problem that the ST are having?

New vents: my thoughts wonder how much crud and dirt will be inside engine area. Also I assume the coefficient of drag is higher. More wind resistance. Just random thoughts.

Because of the placement of the new vents it should help alleviate some of the heat problems that have plagued some of the 2013 ST bikes.

Have you received any information regarding pricing on the new vented panels for the ST?

Yea I just checked it too before I wrote you and I could add it to my Pick list but they haven't priced it. I was hoping someone else had found some pricing, So I too will wait and see. Thanks, Steve
