I'll be on my way soon as well. Won't be able to linger too long, unfortunately, as I have transportation duties in the afternoon but looking forward to seeing more Spyders.

Of course, the first part of every trip seems like.... get gas. ;-)

Great to see everyone this morning -- sorry I couldn't hang around. Thanks to M&C for hosting and to Harvey for making the trip. After his alignment, Dave said "it feels like it has power steering now" and when I rode mine after, I had the same thought. Really worth the effort!

Dave and I had a pleasant drive back to Galveston County -- if you think you get a lot of looks on the road dryving, try having two Spyders in formation!

This fixed my hunting from side to side,really a good job. Thanks flamingo babe for putting this all together . It was nice to meet other spider riders from the area. Sorry i had to leave and not hang around .

Was a great day! Great ride down and an even better one going home thanks to SypderPops. Great time meeting everyone and hanging out. Thanks FB and HG for hosting, lunch was well done!

Thanks to HG & FB for hosting the event and to Harvey for making the trip to Houston. Great job.
Big improvement after the alignment. I left about noon and Harvey had done 8 bikes from '09 to '13 and every one was out of alignment. This is a must do for anyone who hasn't done it. Dave

ps. I didn't realize ya'll were going to be on the north side out at Spring doing this, I might have come by just to meet and greet... I've yet to meet another Spyder owner in person.

Michael...this event was held in FriendswoodI-45 south exit 29....but I do believe the next one will be on the north side of town

Oh! Where the heck did I get "Spring" from then?

Yeah I'm still not up for very long trips on this machine, about 48 miles round is the furtherest I've been out on it... I've been to Humble and back a few times, but riding on a multi-lane freeway makes me a bit nervous still. Oh and I took it up to Shepherd TX my old home town, the highway speed limit goes up to 75mph once you get just north of Cleveland... my helmet was getting shook around a bit from the turbulence at that speed! LOL!

I may yet take the Spyder out to the Reniassance Festival before the end of this month, IDK. Maybe for the Barbarian weekend that's always fun.
