locking gas cap?
So, I am overly paranoid. Our new 2011 Blue Spyder had a Corbin seat on it with the gas door. The door doesn't lock which gives unfettered access to the non-locking gas cap.
Is there a locking gas cap out there that will work on the spyders?
Thanks.

You really think someone will attempt to siphon out five or six gallons from a Spyder when there are vehicles handy with three times that amount available?
Penny and Rick have owned many motorcycles starting in 1974 with Hondas, then to Suzukis, Gold Wings and ultimately Spyders.

Go to any auto store and get one. Gas caps are pretty universal from what I've seen. I'm using an auto type, brand name Stant, thats a screw in like the OEM but they're made with keys also.

Depends..!
auto parts will have some that will fit..after a bit see if it breathes like it should (gas smell) they had a recall on their gas caps not to long ago...easier to put a lock on the door...jmo

Can't give you a brand name--but auto supply store would be the place to look.
Not sure you really need one--but if $20 or less can ease your anxiety, then I suggest you go for it.
I have a Corbin seat with the gas door and have never had gas stolen on either my GS or the RT. My Spyders were parked every week day, in the same place "downtown" since 2008, and have been parked outside numerous places when traveling.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

How hard up would they be
If they want your gas they will go for your car or truck...
if they want to get it the easy way they will use a bucket and just punch a hole in the bottom
of your cars tank... your scooter is not holding enough to bother with.... I would worry more
about them just stealing the whole Spyder.....
