    Angry NO riding for awhile..

was in the middle of installing my power commander 5 and auto tune with LCD when I woke up yesterday morning with a droppy face on one side and talking like daffy duck....my doc told me I have bells palsy!
liveable temporary paralyses of the right or left face(my left on me)..so im out 6 wks to 3mo , not able to put my bike back together .BUT, lucky me could off been a mild stroke while sleeping which resembles identical symptoms.
no one has to comment just thought I'd put this out for some ONE to read and it is spyder related topic. cheers everyone! Believe me i'm HAPPY.

Get well soon. If you were closer I'd send my mechanic hubby to get your Spyder back together.

There is a lady at our church with the same diagnosis. Her symptoms have all but disappeared.

I'm ashamed to admit it; I know nothing about this condition.
It sounds as if it's something that can be dealt with; so you're in our thoughts and prayers to give you the needed strength...

I had a vendor that called on us who got the same condition. He recovered really quickly and has no lasting symptoms at all. But it was sure troubling to him and is a condition that looks like something much more serious. Hope yours goes away soon!

Praying for a speedy recovery for you. Remember, you can pick your nose and you can pick your friends but you can't pick your friends nose! By the way, I love the visuals I'm thinking of from the "holy cow on a pogo stick" remark! Bob, you need to come up with a smiley for that!

    Default bells palsy

I had bells palsy twice. No big deal except when I went deer hunting. I always shoot right with my right arm. I would close my left eye to line up my target. This one day I was deer hunting and went to shoot a deer and closed my left eye like I always did and both eyes closed. I could close my right eye and my left eye would stay open. I never shot lefty in my life so needless to say I quit hunting for a while. It will clear up in a few weeks. At the time I didn't know I had bells palsy. Good luck

    Thumbs up yaaawh.bells palsy update

after 3 mo of my bells palsy condition, I was able to ride for about an hour. it's a good thing- I guessing that I acquired the severe type of this condition . I am at 40% facial muscle movement.
my left eye and eyebrow starting to have some minuet movement. I will be riding by spring, which is awesome!

My two brother in laws and I missed a ride last May with one of them having a case of Bells palsy. Nothing as severe as yours seems to be. Keep the eye drops going and hopefully you will be back to your much wanted normal by spring and riding as much as you can stand. Never had it myself, but my Brother in law was miserable for a while. He too recovered several months later. Glad your better, and wishes to being completely healed soon.
