You'll be fine as long as you keep your battery cables tight (I check mind a couple of times a year and Yes, sometimes they need tighting at the battery connection). Also, if you don't already have one, keep the spyder on a battery tender. You have electronics always on in the background so keep her juiced up. I have had mine to not start after two or three weeks neglecting to plug in the tender. With all this being said and taking a few precautions you should be fine, these things are a blast and your sure to enjoy the ride.

Thanks Stan the only thing about that is I live in an apartment on the second floor so I have nowhere to plug in a battery tender but I have been riding every weekend and even some weekdays as well.
