    However long will be to long! Congress should have their pay withheld...........MAYBE THEN THEY CAN COME TO AN AGREEMENT!

    The House did attach that ammendment to the funding bill that would make the congress go on *****care. the senate rejected it so quick it would make your head spin. This is just not good legislation. I wish it could get repeald(sp) but I also would like to go back to work. Yes, I am a Gov't employee that is now out of work. the question is for how long.

    For every day there is a "shutdown", there should be no federal income taxes collected nor due!! No gov't work, no taxes paid...works for me!!

    You will still be taxed but the audits have stopped for now.

    My daughter still has to work but only gets an IOU.
