Smile Where to buy a shortie antenna?

I have been riding a motor cycle of some kind for the last 56 years and now on 2011 RT limited for the last three months. My wife & I love it. I have managed to break the antenna and need to know were to buy one.

Past posts have indicated that the shorty antenna from Walmart works well and fits without modification.

I had my antenna wiggle off on my trip down to Sonora, California last August. Proved to the dealer that it didn't break off because the stem holding down the antennae was not deformed at all.

    Part was replaced under warranty.

You will have to buy a replacement boot from BRP.

I remember it being hard to find. I couldn't either, though. Perhaps BRP changed it. Sic your dealer on it. They may even replace it under warranty...they have replaced several that way.

Does anyone have a brand name, or part number, or a link to the Wal-Mart shorty antenna? I looked on their web site and I didn't see what I thought I was looking for.

Not sure if this is the correct part ref the Rubber boot for the RT Roadster antenna

On the BRP Parts website If you look under the section Luggages (SUB Section Rear if listed) for the RT's it list the following :-

No 65 -Part No 708300156 -RH Antenna base all

Looks like the rubber boot to me

Will someone be kind enough to post a picture of the shorty antennae from Wal Mart?

Also, any suggestion with replacement antennae to use on the STS and ST Limited? Thank you in advance.
