I think it will be a mistake if we allow BRP not to take responsibility for their engineering mistake if we pay to solve the issue when something else is wrong with our bikes they will not care to fix the issue because we will pay for the repair, my honest opinion is that is their mistake they need to pay or fix our bikes if they don't I guess I have a LEMON...but is only me thinking they need to take responsibility for their error, not me.
A GOS rider just posted on FB that BRP says the 2014 panels will not fit BUT they are working on something for the 2013's. Whether it will be free repair or not it still unknown. Bug BRP.

So; are you riding your bike, or not?
Have you had the servicing done to add the additional heat shielding?
Carl...have you received your panels from BRP? Do they fit? Baseball79ST2013...you are not alone.....I just deleted all my complaints....will stick to original post

2014 panels will not fit? It doesn't concur with other reps statements brought here by other members. I guess that we have to try it to be sure.
Looks like Carl is going to do very valuable recon for many of us. ...crossing fingers...
Yes I ride my bike with the weather we are having the HEAT it helps, please don't get me wrong I LOVE my , it just that is not ok that we have to pay for their mistake.....
I have just sent an inquiry to BRP about my parts order. But I'm also thinking the shipment might have got delayed because of the weather. Will keep this thread posted about the answer.

I called BRP today and the Rep put me on hold while she checked. She came back and said the 2014 panels will not fit on the 2013's and BRP is working on a fix but because it is still under development she could not find out what it was, when it will be out, or if we will have to pay for it or it will be offered to machines with problems free. She told me to keep checking back ... so some reps say it'll fit, some don't - LaMonster ??? Will they fit?
I guess Flamingobabe has not seen my other post. I agree it would be nice to have some of our southern members try the panels out before it gets too cold.
Me too, I'm in New Mexico and I would try them out too - any color! Please ...

Okay folks, everyone just settle down. We don't need anymore rumor weeds running amuck out there in Spyder land.
We will know soon enough whether or not the panels will work, and all at my expense, which is okay.
Personally, from my own experience with BRP reps, most of the time they just don't have a clue about their own products and only know what they are told by some other rep that doesn't know or the infamous BRP marketing segment. Sigh...

Carl, Thanks for those re-assuring words...
Besides; if a "BRPer" says that they won't fit... it might just only be due to needing some mounting holes for attachment hardware...

Okay, no sooner had I sat down to do some other work when my driveway detector sounded and there came the UPS man, or in this case, Brown Santa. I had given up on getting them today because the shipping confirmation I received said they were coming USPS.
The packing was excellent with every piece individually wrapped in the thin flexible Styrofoam and then lots of bubble wrap. Still need the two additional trim pieces for the scoops and some more decals. All those pieces shipped yesterday.
And let me say this, the colors match perfectly. You could never tell the difference in color. From the little bit I looked at the fitment there should be no problems needing additional brackets. It does look like you will need to move the wiring harness to the inside of the frame to secure the rear part of the new front panel but that should be a no brainer, me thinks. Other than that, I think this is going to be piece of cake. Hmm it might be pound cake but still...
More later.
