Yes, much much cheaper.
Powersports Warehouse was $400 cheaper than the local dealer.

I ended up up paying some shipping because they said the size of the order was bigger than their free ship size. They sent an email , did you get any email? Or perhaps you are closer to them? I think it was about $55 more, no biggie.

I have to think powersports should know what to order?

Even the list I ordered by was incorrect and I was told some clip part numbers were wrong.
Hoping once I actually get my parts and do this I can give a specific parts break down w pics so people know what "exactly" to order.

Didn't Carl get everything he needed? I just followed his list with a change in color. But I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

This might be worth pursuing...
I haven't gone to the online catalog to get the part number yet... is anybody else willing to give it a try?

It is part #219400472 in the 2014 accessories catalog and it is a matte black panel accent kit (trunk lid, bezel below mirrors, tail piece, front fender accents). It does not include side panels.

They sell ell parts for all sorts of powersports, they don't know what purpose I'm ordering for.

I followed his list for the most part, but one of the numbers isn't even available from BRP so I had to guess at the proper number they suggested, we'll see.

Snoopy....you were told numerous times that the part ending in 069...should be 079...quit pushing the blame on someone else....I copied the list...then did research my self and my conclusion was exactly the same...I have the parts and they are correct.....

Not blaming. I just still don't know which number is being sent?
I thought I did the change people were speaking of (079?) but it wasn't available?
Maybe it was the 069?, it is all confusing to me...I'll see when the parts show up. Lol

Curious
Like so many of you, I too am very curious to see how Carl and others like the new side panels once the weather gets warmer. And, like so many of you, am wondering if BRP will actually do anything about this on their end... including, as someone mentioned, at the very least, making the 2013 colors available in the 2014 panel parts.
A question... I was told by my dealer (I had it shipped to VA from MN) that the Service Bulletin 2013-9 was done. Is there an easy way I can visually verify if this is true? My brand new 2013 ST SE5 runs awfully hot, and it's got only a few miles on it, and those are mostly just parking lot and neighborhood practice rides.

The rides in parking lots and neighborhoods might just not be fast enough, to get enough airflow through the bike.
I would say, try it out at speed on the highway, before starting to get worried about anything...

Bob...the parts will be installed before I leave for Spyderfest....waiting on torx screw and nut
STicks....the service bulletin is a computer update to the ECM...to answer your question ...no
as far as ordering the parts to update to 2014 air-flow panels.....so many are ordering...BRP has run out and needs to make new ones...if you go to BRP site some of the parts say unavailable......I did hear a rumor that the 2013 colors will be available

I looked up every part in this list but the decal x2 with the correct part number and my source shows $694.20 .
Shoot me a pm if you want to know where. The site says free shipping but could be a charge for bulky orders. Does anyone have any results to report on the kit? Is removing the cat a better solution? It would be cheaper

Side Panel Confusion
Thanks Flamingobabe and Bob.
Another question...
On the list of parts needed for the panel swap, I see there are "LH Upper Side Panel" and "RH Upper Side Panel", as well as RH and LH "Front Panels." But, on the lists provided in the thread, there is a second set of "Upper Side Panels" under different part numbers. One set shows color, the other doesn't. I thought we needed to get four panels. This makes six.

Powersportswarehouse.com was around that price plus shipping, don't remember the exact numbers.
I think there is a backorder or some parts though because it is taking a while.
Sent an email today for an update.
