The 2013 RS bikes didn't get the heat complaints that the STs did...

Your correct Bob with the exception of some of the heat from the catalytic converter heat coming up through the vents mine really isn't too bad. Not bad enough to justify spending $700 on new panels plus the cost of having them painted , the new cat bypass that's coming may be a win win as far as heat and performance so think I'd try that first at least for my case.

You're right, Snoopy, the air flow is more important than the bugs! Will keep them open without any covers. Just thought it would look neater with the other air intakes all covered with the steel mesh inserts that I installed. But I'm really happy with the results and hope that any heat problems will be now resolved. Best from Bavaria! Rick

Lamonster is making a Y pipe to eliminate the catalytic converter. The converter creates back pressure and a lot of heat so taking it off helps both

In my parts I ordered PowersportsWarehouse called me back and said the part ending in 69 is not available...so I had it changed to the 79 part number just in case....only thing that gets me is that 69 is bolts, and 79 is nuts?

well the first delivery came today.....1 bolt, 2 packages of clips, 2 different trims, 2 foam for panels.,...waiting...6 days before we leave for Spyderfest....I don't think I'm thinking straight....we have 12 days until we leave for spyderfest...just too excited

I believe the one you're referring to is for the ST. It consists of matte black panels for: trunk lid, panel below headlamp/mirrors, tail piece and front fender accents.

That looks right, except the first number I have is 69, not 79. Not sure the difference.

My subtotal from Powersportswarehouse was $703, not sure how you came up w $545?

Wrap, silicone and tent wrap your exhaust, Heat Shield your Oil Reservoir, tubing and panels (pay attention to shielding the screws as well). Use Engine Ice in your coolant. Then replace the panels on your 2013 with the new 2014 Air Flow Panels at Powersportswarehouse.com Here's your parts list for the white panels - you may have to change the numbers depending on the colors you want:
