Got rear ended. swore I had 3 bars just before i got hit. It went into limp mode, I walked away with key in hand and it reset itself started it up to drive slowly home and gas light came on and showed one bar. Thought HMMM that's strange but didn't think about it anymore. Had the bike fixed and filled it with gas and drove on. Then I ran out of gas completely with 3 bars showing. I filled it again and set the trip meter. I now have 92 miles on it and it still shows full tank of gas. Problem.

The pump module MSRP is $460.99 on BRP's parts page. The retainer kit (w/ gasket) is not listed. I'd add at least a couple more hours labor at your shop's rate, for at least $150-$200 additional. If there are additional needs, such as wiring or a replacement gauge, or additional troubleshooting, that would add to the tab. The insurance adjuster, in concert with your dealer, should be doing this legwork, but I understand your need to speed up the process, and assure that they get it right.
