    Default Fenders Gone

Thought about it for a while and me and my son went and removed the front fenders on my RS. I like the look much better. A few bolts, wire relocation and zip tied down and I have naked front tires

Pics? Worried about the marker lights being gone to show people you're wider than normal bikes?

You must not be planning on riding in the rain.

Love it! Had mine off for a few years now and no plans to put them back on.

That looks pretty cool, 5PYD3R! While I never ride in the rain, I'm not sure that I'd like the way that'd look on my white Spyder.

Thanks. I dont make a point to ride in the rain but the few times I have been caught in it, it really was not that big of a deal. I think white would actually look cool too. Mine is getting painted soon

Looks good. My only thoughts would be marker lights and getting caught in the rain. If it don't bother you--your covered.

Run a ton of LED's so I am not afraid of the width issue they can see I am plenty wide. As far as the rain I haven't rode in it in two years but even if I did I can't imagine the Spyder will throw anything more on me than the cars and trucks around me. I LOVE the look of it without the covers, will take some pics this week.

I'm pretty sure that would be illegal in Va. Tires can't be uncovered more than an inch and a half I believe with ought having marker lights over them.

it was Virginias way of cutting back on oversized tires on lifted trucks years ago and I'm sure would be considered the same for a trike.

I don't know... I'm not feeling the no fenders look but I have a 2013 and the new style fenders look very cool. As long as you like it that is all that matters! Ride on and enjoy!

Orange I do like the 2013 fenders but didn't want to buy a set so settled for getting rid of the old style to give it a different look. Always like the roadsters no fender look on old cars and it looks real good in person. Saw some Spyder pics without the frunk too....hmmmmmm. Can't wait til my IPS gets here.

I think a spyder with a quad Atv style front end would be pretty cool.

Can you take pics of your back fender? Did you relocate the plate?
