Ivor, I am interested in your experience with the Bridgestone Potenzas.... After using them this much do you feel they are as good as the Kendas in ryding the twisties? and in the rain?
Thanks for any comments you can share about these since some folks seem to think the Kendas are better than any car tires.

Kenda makes tires for lawn movers, Atv's, golf carts, and a spyder, enough said.

Dan, it's your life do what you want but if you don't know this .........KENDA'S are at the bottom of the preferred list of motorcycle tires......Mike

I've been happy with the OEMs up front...
The rear of the bike was a different story...

Bottom ?,....I don't recall anyone saying " Bottom " Bob........However I equate " lawn mower tires ", " golf cart ", wheel barrow " etc ...with less than a " V " speed rating !!!!!!!!!....and Bob the 185/55-14 's Yokohama's I told you about are " V " rated and I'm not sure any of the others mentioned so far are........just sayin........Mike

With all respect, why do you consider those tires to be defecient? Saying "but the company also makes wheelbarrow tires..." Or something similar is like telling me not to use Dial Soap because the company also makes dog food (yes, the company really does make both.)
What I am really asking is:"What is it about the tires that makes the tires deficient?"

I have Kendas on my pedal bike. They suck. I do have the OEM's on the Spyder and as soon as they are in need of replacement, I personally won't buy another. Cheap Chinese crap that doesn't balance well or hold air well.
Same goes for the Toyo's. Had a set on the GTO and despite the billing as s great street tire, they were the hardest crappiest tire that would not keep traction that I ever owned. Switched to Goodyear and never had a problem.
Like Bob said though...It all depends on your experiences. Others have probably had better experiences with those brands than I did and are perfectly happy with them...or they don't know what they are missing...

Nevertheless, you used the word 'bottom' and then denied using it without categorization.
Oh, and BTW, I understood all along.
