    Default info on used 2010 spyder RTS

    hey new to this group just purchased this bike and want to know what wear items and recalls that have been published that i need to check out on this machine thanks for any help

    How many miles are on it? Throttle bodies and throttle position sensors were a bit problematic in 2010...
    They call for a valve adjustment at (I think!) 14,000 miles; but a lot of us let that go a bit longer...
    How's the battery, the tire treads, and the belt tension looking?

    Have your dealer run the VIN or hook it up to BUDS and you'll find out if anything is needed. I loved my 2010 RTS and it gave me very few troubles.

    you can run your roadster to the dealer and have them hook it up to BUDS and see if updates have been done and if things are running well. On board computer know all..

    Advice about having the dealer run the VIN is good. I have 35K miles on mine. Still working well and have not had any major issues with it.

    Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

    MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

    IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.
