    Default BRP Spyder Map

I visited the BRP Spyder map a few minutes ago for the first time in six months, which was six months after the previous, etc. This page can be horrible. If you want to contact new people for fellowship, thats half the Spyder experience, you can't. Whats the point of having the map? Do dealers advise new customers of the site. I noticed new ryders in my area and on the map.

The website you mention is kind of a disaster. I can tell you the information from AK is about as bad as can be. Very little participation, and now some wrong information.

The whole BRP site needs work. I tried to upload my 5000 mile pictures, and could not do it.

Send the customer service your picture for 5,000 miles. I could not upload either, sent pictures to BRP customer service in November 2012. I received (4) 5,000 mile pins 6 mo later. By that time, I had traded off the Sypder for a Harley Tri-glide.

Hi I was wondering how your deal went when trading for the Tri Glide. I have been thinking maybe I might want to do the same thing, but it was pretty hard payng the price for the spider. Would you recommend it.

It is a personal choice. But yes I love the Tri-Glide. For us it was the perfect choice. Just picked it up from the 6,000 mile service. I always was a HD person, loved the Spyder also, but the Anniversary Edition HD just took me over the edge. The ride is a bit rougher for the wife, but she said very little once we go a DK lift kit and lowered the shock pressure. For Driver, in my opinion so much more comfortable, and love the stability. Was afraid it was not going to be as stable, but I am actually more aggressive on the tri-glide, and love it on the freeway. Never felt 100% comfortable on the interstate with the Spyder.

How does the "hot foot syndrome" compare between the Spyder and the HD TG?

With the HD you don't have hot foot, but legs. There are a lot more options to cool down the HD. I have gone to True Dual headers, no catalytic converter, better air flow air cleaner, and fuel tuner. All of that helps power, and cooling. I ride now in total comfort. But with that said, you have a big engine sitting between you legs, there is always heat when stuck in traffic. I would not say one is better than the other for temp control. Although have just started to see the 2014 tri glide reviews saying they are much cooler

For some by accident. LOL. You must register to use it fully. This includes contacting by email. A owner could live around the corner from you, park the bike in the garage, and you would never know about it. But I can understand privacy issues. I have used the contacting feature before and BRP sends an email or a private message a I believe. But that feature wasn't available when I originally posted. Either a technical problem or BRP discontinued it.

I joined 5 years ago so I can't remember what made me go to the site. It may be what drew me to the Spyder in the first place when I read an article in the local paper about a guy with a medical issue who couldn't ride his two wheeler anymore, but, the doctor gave his blessings to the trike>Spyder. The Spyder wasn't as popular on the web as it is now so it took a little bit of work. Plus, the BRP was/is slower than molasses. Obviously their server was dial up or had to go through customs. Some of us remember those days when ordering our bikes. LOL

    Cool BRP map

The one thing that I found the map has me located north and west of Ormond Beach, I have tried numerous times to correct it and it will not save to the new location. They, BRP probably have a person assigned to maintain the map as a third duty when not busy. Which seldom occurs unfortunately for us.
