Remove GloRyders for Service Appt?
Hey all, I did search but there are a ton of posts about GloRyders. Do you all remove them before going in for service? Because the GloRyders block the lugnuts I assume you do or, does the service department remove/put them back?
I'll ask my guys when I take it in for service but, was just curious what the norm is.
Thanks!

Don't know..!!
but depending on the service they don't normally remove the wheels. If they do they would remove them and re-install them if they know how. If not they will ask you to but if you have doubts remove them before hand..jmo...

If there is a chance that they'd need to pop the wheels off; I remove them.

As there's a risk of marring the finish on the sides of them if they try to remove the lug nuts without removing the GloRyder housing, I would recommend you remove them first if you expect the wheels to come off during service.

If you have the glo riders, I recommend removing them prior to any service that requires the removal of the wheels. Your just asking for small parts to get lost or mislaid. Prior to installing glo riders, I had the rims changed out. Yes, they lost the plastic insert on one of the wheels. Yes, I made them replace it on their dime.

If you leave them on during service and they need to be removed, the dealer may charge yo more labor

FYI, One part of the service is to check/re-torque the wheel [lug] nuts....
