    Default Help with fuse box

I would like to install a fuse box and would like some input/recommendation from the experts/electricians:
Purpose: to power GPS, gloves, cell phone etc.

what set-up do you recommend? what is the best location to install?

i was looking at this one with the AP 170r relay wiring kit

I've got a Fuzeblock FZ-1 in my Versys and one I'm about to out in the frunk of the Spyder.

Super easy install and you can choose between circuits that are always on, or switched on with the key.

I am using the same thing... if I was just starting to wire a Spyder, I think I would even put 2 of them on in different locations...

    Cool

The RS has two provisions in the fuse box to install your items one keyed and one non keyed just install fuses and hook up as needed. I have a 2012 RSS i use the switched fuse for the garmin and the non switched for the battery tender to charge when the Spyder is in storage mode i also added the two power outlets in the front frunk and one in the dash easy job good luck with your project.

I used the FZ-1 from www.Fuzeblocks.com and to help me along I made a wiring diagram in Coreldraw. I've reproduced it here as a .pdf file but I'm unsure if anyone but me can open it! Maybe someone will let me know?

The PDF works fine, which wire did you tap into for the "switched"

I used the Eastern Beaver PC-8 on my GS. Good product. If I add one to my RT it will be the new Motobrain when it's released. http://motobrain.net/
    Love my

Statistics show that most motorcycle accidents are caused by a defective nut holding the handlbars.

The RT has heated grips for the pax which are switched, so I posi-tapped into that on the LHS. I could have taken it off the lighting circuit but I wanted to fit a power socket for my wife's heated vest to plug into.

When the Spyder is parked up at home the socket is used for my CTEK battery monitor to plug into. www.ctek.com

Thank you for confirming the viability of my .pdf file. CorelDraw is a fast, intuitive illustration program but my (old) version doesn't allow work to be saved as a .jpg file, neither do I have a 3rd party converter to do the same thing. But I do have the option to save a copy of my work as a .pdf file and now that you've told me it opens OK in SpyderLovers it opens doors. Sort of....
