three weeks still no purge valve
I bought a 2013 limited in florida in February. It was at the dealer for over a month to replace ball joints, tie rods and tie rod ends another two weeks to replace fuse box that was full of water now almost another month so far waiting on a purge valve. The dealer in florida said he would check into it and never returned my call.I called brp customer service and filed a claim their response so sorry purge valve on back order.Anyone no how to contact someone higher up at brp that might actually care.Sorry about the whining but I can't keep it running long enough to get rid of it.

Bummer..!!
A good dealer would pull the valve from a floor model and have you out if there. Don't think the purge valve has changed. When I worked at dealerships it was done all the time if the parts were back ordered. Seems some one out there would have one.. Sorry...

Bad dealers can make the ownership experience unbearable. The fact that they have sat on your machine for weeks at a time for other repairs, and are now doing it again, indicates they do not care one iota.
A good dealer would get you a new purge valve off of a machine on the floor, get it fixed to your satisfaction, and get you down the road smiling. You should not be punished because BRP supply is out of stock.
Experiences like you mention does make one want to dump the and find something that works. I suggest a different dealer first.

Two Pennsylvania dealers who have gotten good reviews from Spyderlovers members are Blackmans Cycle Center in Emmaus, PA and Rusty Palmer in Honesdale, PA. If you're in NE PA, Klinger's Powersports in Walton, NY has gotten good reviews. Ledgewood Powersports in Ledgewood, NJ has also received good reports.

It would seem
It would seem if the service manager at his dealership gave a about the dealership's and his reputation he could have found the same information, bought the valve out of petty cash and him back on the road.
Just sayin' ya know.

How long would it take if they hadn't have put such a rush on it for you?

Recommendations are very subjective, There are two on that list that i Won't recommend, And one of them is only 10 miles from me, The other is 80 miles from me...
