8/8 sounds good. I'll be flying solo, but may try to round up a south jersyite or 2.

Thanks Ron, That'll help allay her fears about my night vision... or lack thereof!

Maybe....

We might want to ride down with the group,
as long as the speed isn't too excessive.
Gretchen starts poking me in the ribs when speeds get above
80.
This motor sure likes the high revs, and my mirrors tend to be much more clear.

This post was suppose to go in the thread about the trip back down from Lake George.
I screwed up and posted it wrong. Short term memory and bad brain cells, sorry,
Bill

if you want to be back before dark, you'd have to leave the chatterbox at 6:30 pm. most bikes are just arriving by then.

When I get it above 80-85 I don't worry much about the mirrors.

Chuck,
I'm trying that one.... She's worried about having to shut the office down an hour or so early, get changed into riding clothes, take the dog for a walk, take her 4:00pm medications... I'm lettingher cool off a bit today by hiding over here, and I'll re-start the efforts tomorrow!

And being legally blind in one of those eyeballs (20/360); I've got NO depth perception. So speeds are a real issue...
I understand, Is there a chance that one of the other riders can pace you back home [you follow them]..?? If not then just leave enough time to get home before dark, And you'll be alright..

Ron,
What way are you coming down. We can meet the convoy and ride down. We will probably be near milford figured bill will leave from there .
I was thinking of staying wednesday night somewhere up near hawley or honsdale and do some riding around there and find something to do on Thursday. Then do chatterbox. We have plans to go towards long island on friday so we will be staying between the chatterbox and there.

209s, then left on neversink dr (also I think county rt. 80) crossing rt. 6 onto river road ( also rt. 521?) to NJ. then left onto rt. 206 to chatterbox. Google does not give the state rt.# of river road, but maybe Bill can confirm rt. 521
