Look great! I have the LED's on my 2011 RS-S on the splash panel like yours. They work when car or truck is behind me, when I hit the brakes they back off.

Very nice looking lights. They sure "up" the visibility factor.

Do these run while the bike is started then brighten when the brake has been pressed? Which wires did you tap into?

I had the fender light wire to work with because I removed the fender!
You basically use posi taps to tap into a Black wire (Under Back) for ground, orange wire for running and white wire for Brake.

Tric Leds (Vendor on Home page) has a kit with the lights on the side of the wheel cover thats plug and play and act as (Dual Intensity) Running and Brake. I would have bought those if I didn,t already have the side lights and then I would Not have had to add the MegaLight LEDS you see under when the brake is applied. Check them out at Tricled?

Positaps are (IMO) the best connectors.

I did the same setup on my RSS. I bought a 16 foot roll of led strip from Hitlights for about 20 bucks. With the clip they sell I cut 2 strips one on each side from where the side tupper ware starts to the Tail. I have a Bestem trunk which I removed the reflector and installed a double strip of leds there. I still have 2 feet left over.
