2012 RTS SE5, 4,900 miles. I do proper maintance on it. But I don't check tire pressure every ride. I don't check engine oil level often, maybe 1 time between service intervals. I don't tighten my battery cables every week. I don't push fuses and relays in after every ride. I don't always run it above 4000 rpms. I just ride it and have fun and don't worry about "stuff". NO PROBLEMS.

    2011 RT-AC (bought new in March 2012), 9000+ miles.

Seat replaced twice due to bad stitching; fuel gauge replaced twice; ignition and related electrical system replaced; leaking rear suspension air bag replaced; parking brake came off spindle and repaired; frunk latch repaired.

All repair work and replacements done under warranty and I continue riding.

    Default There you go...!!

we have an RS but as you can see even the RT's are many wrinkle free. You have to remember they have more that can go wrong. Like old folks at the Dr's office. I wish all the members would post but many have no problem have no reason to post...

2013 RT SE5 Blue, 1800 miles. I've seen the occasional stall - mostly right after starting. Will occasionally exhibit long hesitation between shifts. I now have an occasional "shimmy" in the handlebars around 50 mph.

All-in-all, pretty good so far. I've seen 28-40 mpg... odd thing is the 28 mpg was Interstate single rider, 40 mpg was winding thru West Virgina 2-up.

    Jer,
Question: Have you ever tried one of the Harley Big twins, in traffic and on a hot day?
Sorry, but it DOES tend to give a different perspective on the BRP issues...

Bob, like yourself....this isn't my first rodeo. I know what acceptable/expected heat is, as well, I clearly understand when engineering or design has brought about an avoidable problem. imo

As far as the HD comparison goes. No offense to HD riders but my butt hasn't been on one in many years and is not likely to find its way over one any time soon. Simply not the cruiser type.

As to radiator heat from the spyder. Nothing has changed(other than I have pretty much been quite about it). At least I have until someone wants to make an issue of it.

And to them I say one thing.............come ride in my neighborhood.......

Default 2013 RT Limited Lava Bronze

Bought new about three weeks ago. At 78 miles orange screen brake system failure sure enough no brakes. Drove home extra careful called dealer and they said to drive it up there are you kidding me, accident waiting to happen and can you imagine the liability. Well I did drive it up there and now has 144 miles and was diagnosed with bad master cylinder. They said it would be an all day job to replace and finally the part came in yesterday. It has been at the dealer now eight days and they just called about an hour ago and said it was ready. Other than that no other problems so far. DON
