What is the best ins company for spyders?
Looking for the best ins for the Spyder .let me know. Thanks

Look to the Companies that actually specialize in insurance PowerSports equipment...
Next: Check with your State's insurance Department to see which ones are racking up fewer complaints...
Then... start calling and getting rates!
Happy Hunting!

We went through AARP which happens to be Foremost. My wife and I are very novice riders (still riding on permits), and AARP/Foremost beat Progressive (even though I have boat insurance with them) and two other companies.

The one that pays claims
The best ins. company is......the one that will pay your claim
with out giving you a bad time, or canceling your ins. or raising
your premiums, one that has a real agent you can talk to in person.

This is also my outlook on insurance. I like a real agent that knows who I am and I can talk to when needed. Rates are the result of your personal history with accidents, etc. and IMO: only one of the factors involved in the whole insurance process.
I have had the same company since 1965 and they have insured my cars, motorcycles, and my homes. They have always come through when needed and I have never felt hassled or cheated. I have moved all over the country, the agents have changed, but the company has not. State Farm
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Foremost for me..I've had them for over 20 years with 2 wheelers and when they set the rate for the Spyder's 3 they had no statistics to go by...Initial rate was $760 for a year with a $250 deductible....Just got a renewal bill...$410 for a full year.

Please bear in mind that premiums are NOT the soul consideration that should be reviewed when making a choice...
(But it is undeniably important!)
Do you have an agent to call, or will this be a 1-800-"good luck" deal?
How do they handle claims?
Do the claims folks in the office give you complete contact information, and do they return your calls in a reasonable time-frame?
If you have an Agent; do they call you back with accurate answers to your questions?

I agree completely with Bob. I'm with my current insurance agent because I can email or call him and he lives right here in my community. Last claim I had, I took the estimate in and he sent me out the door with a check. Another HUGE benefit is the fact that my local body shop is a preferred repair facility so i'm able to get one quote and fix it right there
