Demo up in Smoke

Spyder RT demo went up in Flames at the rally in Johnstown PA.. Hope the link works. Friend sent me the link. Rep said a large plastic bag got caught under the bike, and a gas line leaked. My bike was across the street from the demo tent. Not a pretty site to see. At least no one got hurt.

happens. That's too bad.

I remember giving a demo of a high tech robot for very high level management. The demo was impressive and had worked perfectly a hundred times. But right in the middle of this most important demo the robot's hand broke off and destroyed the expensive part it was holding. You just gotta laugh.

How does the plastic bag even get sucked in? The Spyder is fully covered....way too much and from every angle. I don't think I can shove a bag through with a stick! Unless, I push it through the bottom where the splash pans are removed. Can't see that happening on a demo 2013!

Great! Now I have to fear "the bag"!
