    Default Shaking

Any ideas why i get shaking vibration between 55-62MPH? If I am under/over no problems... but right in between it's not enjoyable ride... I just had tires replaced. Alignment maybe?

    Have your belt tension checked.

Number One: 2008 Yellow GS SM5. I love my Spyder.
Number Two: 2012 RT-S Limited (the poop colored RT) I still have Number One, but Some Girl made me buy Number Two...

If the shake happened after tires I would go back and have it checked. Otherwise I agree with Some Guy.

    The likely suspects:
    Tires
    Drive-Belt
Look them over first, and please let us know what is found.
    Good Luck!

Did the bike shake before you replaced the tires?

I have the same exact problem Very smooth at faster speeds, and slower. Just not between 55 and 65.

That's the other reason why I hurried and replaced tires. First was inside tire was balding bad.

I had the same problem with my new 2013 RTS. Smooth until I reached about 54 to 55 MPH. VIBRATION--- Then it would level off around 61 to 63 MPH. Dealer put new tires on bike. Ended my problem!!

    Cool

I would explore the possibility that u could have worn ball joints seeing as u said the inner tire was bald as well as checking the alignment after new tires replaced also check the pressure 16-20 LB both tires good luck.

Tires should both wear at the same time. If one is worse than the other you are either only making right turns or something is out of align up front! Check for belt tightness as well.
