I have a small 6 x 12 Haulmark Edge Lowhauler. My F3S fits well and easily. And I have hauled a ton of other item. Enclosed gets my vote.

I have both and have hauled the Spyder on both. I found the open trailer on line here in Utah cheap. It is 7x12 . It was a snowmobile trailer so the bed tilts which makes for easy loading. I use it for local short distances. The enclosed trailer is also my garage/storage facility. I use it to take the Spyder longer distances when my wife wants come. She wont ride long distances so I haul to the riding area then we ride. I did use the open trailer to go to San Diego from Utah and it was just fine.

Both trailers (enclosed and open) have there pros and cons I'm still trying to decide what to go with myself.
Don't you love these old posts being dredged up!!! But maybe to help you out a little bit, all the years I have pulled sleds down the road I have found that a enclosed trailer in my eyes is the best way! I would hate to haul my bike down the road in a open trailer, hit a rain storm, get to where you have to go and spend the next two hours cleaning the bike before you dare put your butt on the dirty seat!!And that dirt is going to be in places!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"no brainer" Enclosed always. Look or Wells Cargo are two very good reliable brands. Dual Axle (4 tires) will serve you best in case of flat tire. (you can drive at reduced speed to have tire replaced if need be)

Now that makes a statement and should be quite obvious why you should seriously consider an enclosed trailer!
