Default BRP Rear Rim with Wheel Hub Question

I am getting very close to buying the Black Rear Rim with Wheel Hub kit from BRP, part number 219400105 for my 2009 GS SE5.

What I am wondering is what, if any, other parts do I need to order for replacement at the same time I do this?

I have a copy of the installation instructions and it states the parts to be replaced are Rim and Hub Kit (219400221), 2 Ball Bearings (293350067), 1 Seal (293200094), 5 M10X35 Bolts (207503544), 5 M10 Nuts (233101414), and the Cotter Pin (250400047). For that reason I am assuming these are the parts that come with the kit.

When I look at the parts schematic on BRP's online catalog, I see additional components that are not included in the above list. The following link will get you to the parts section, then you need to drill down on 2009 - SE5 - 08 Drive System, Rear: http://parts.spyder.brp.com/Index.as..._id=1&siteid=1
I am specifically looking at a couple of O-Rings (293300131) and (293300124), then the Damper (705500736), some Loctite (293800060), the Double Row Bearing for the Sprocket (293350065), Circlip (293370053), and a final Seal for the Sprocket (293200094).

It appears BRP wants me to reuse these parts, but I am wondering what your thoughts are on whether any of these should be reused or replaced.

When I had my rim and sprocket powder coated, I only reused the sprocket dampers, circlip and those 5 nuts and bolts. Everything else I replaced.

IMO, it is alot less expensive to have your silver one powder coated than going this route. Your spending $300.00 on a black rim and hub when you could have your original silver one powder coated for $50.00 and than includes your sprocket........ I'm guessing you already have a black sprocket ????

Default BRP Rear Rim with Wheel Hub Question

I just replaced my rear sprocket with a new black one. It had the bearing and seal already installed. I would think that the new hub would have the bearing in it also.

I was thinking about going the powder coating route, since that is what was done with my front tires, but am afraid I may have some damage to my current rear wheel. I could order the individual parts and take a chance on everything being okay, but if I end up having to buy another wheel anyway then the kit would be a cheaper option. I would like to get my sprocket done as well, so it may be worth taking a chance on it. Decisions, decisions.

I just turned over 25K and haven't replaced any of the rear bearings yet.

The wheel with hub kit does come with 2 bearings, but it doesn't include anything for the sprocket. Where did you get your black rear sprocket from?
