    Default 12v Accessory Plug

Which size bit do you use to install the 12v po? Stepper bit? For metal or do they make one for plastic? Thanks!

I used a Knockout set to produce the hole. 7/8 size if memory serves. It makes a nice clean hole.

I also used a knockout to install my powerlets on the dash. However, the dealership installed the 12 volt in the trunk and they used a hole saw. I could tell because they didn't even file or try to break off all the plastic burs. No wonder the outlet fit loosely. Once I removed the burs, it was much better.
