? GOOD DEAL??
2013 RTS, SE, $27,000. Out the door. Is this a good price? I am looking, seriously, at this bike.

From what I saw at the dealer Saturday it seems right. They wanted that for a 2012.

I paid 26 for mine and it's an SM. I thought it was a good deal, so if $1,000 more you get a SE... I say bargain with some BRP accessories! Good luck!

Sounds like a very fair price "out the door". Especially if it's a dealer you have confidence in. After all is said and done - for 'THE GOOD ONES' to stay in business. They need our business, and loyalty.

This is the same dealer I bought my RS from. Only thing, it is a 5 hour drive. BUT--It beats the next quoted price by $1500.

I paid $27,000 out the door for a 2012 RT-S last Spetember. Since this is the start of the riding season and its a 2013 I'd say its a very good deal. Didn't expect them to deal this early in the year grab it! You will love the RT for long distence over the RS. I had an RS and it was a great bike but I just could not stay on it for over 75 miles befor I needed a break when doing long rides with it. With the RT I can do 100-125 miles befor I need a break.

Depending on you sales tax and I assume your trading in the RS- List is $27,499 SO YOUR SAVING $500 plus whatever sales tax- Probably around $900 if your getting $12,000 trade in Plus Reg and title -Runs a couple hundred? Sounds like a Good deal unless you can wait till November for left-overs?
Whatever you do- I would have Personal Knowledge (Riding it) that the allignment and Ball joints and everything is Perfect because it IS a long ride to get service.

I agree with the service aspect of the buying experience. Remember, going out of town (so to speak) to save 500 or even 1000 dollars may catch up to you when you have to go the extra miles back for service. Also , a local dealer (who is good with spyder service and customers) will take care of His customers first (the ones who buy from him) when it comes to service. The person who passed him up to save a few hundred dollars and drove another 200 hundred miles to do it can't expect to get priority service. You'll be at the back of the line. that's just the way it is in business. I am lucky to have a good servicing dealer that I bought from 30 miles away.
Happy Spyderlovers

It is good to buy from a dealer you are going to use for your service. Downside of story. Left the bike at the dealership. It drives very rough and has a LOT of vibration. Dealer checked and said the VIN was not on the list of recall #s. I am going out of town tomorrow, so I will pick bike up when I get back next week. They assured me the bike WOULD run great when I picked it up next week. Now I'm thinking, "What have I done?" My RS runs without a flaw. I'm hoping for the best.
congrats on your new spyder!! I'm sure they will get it right

Deal
The best deal is when the dealer has a good service dept.
