Default Bluetooth Dongle - Sena SM10 - which interface cable?

I bought the can am version of the sena sm 10 ( can am part 219400458) to use on my 2012 spyder rt limited. Do I use the the 3 pole or 4 pole audio cable to interface with can am harness?

    Default Bluetooth Dongle

The 3 pole for radio use. Did you install it yet? If not, search the past posts. The instructions that come with the package suggest installation up front. I installed mine in the trunk and I would suggest that that's where it belongs.

    Default Already installed

I agree. I installed mine in the back as well. It was a cleaner and easier installation. I used the alternate bracket.
I will three post cable. The instructions were less than clear.

    Thanks

I wonder how easy it would be to move it from the frunk to the back trunk? I know I have to remove part of the front and most of the right side tupperware, so I'll just wait until it gets colder. I am also going to move the wiring to where I can connect the iPhone while it is on the handlebars or in the dash.

Install in the back. I followed others advice on here, much easier and its where everything else is, MP3,Phone,etc. IMHO.

    Default Bluetooth Dongle

To me the ideal spot would be the glove box because of its flaky behavior.

Can you post up a picture of the cord used? I'm curious which connector this plugs into on the radio...

On mine, the radio has 2 places to plug a cable into, 1 was used and 1 was not. The new cable plugs into the empty one. The other end of the cable has a female 3.5mm phone jack and a microusb connector on it.

Here is a link that someone else posted in another thread of the instructions:https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BypE...eGM/edit?pli=1

To others who are thinking of buying the BRP dongle, don't. You can buy the same dongle from motorcycledave.com with the proper cord and the great help of Dave if you need it. And the best part is it is cheaper than the BRP part.
