How many inches of rise did you get?
-
Tea is very good,i would like to know how many inches rose and if it is easier to operate, and with less effort than with the handlebar of series
-
2 and 1/2 inch rise (measured from top of forward bolt holes to top of handlebar center)
sebastiano: I have not had the chance to ride the spyder yet. Its been raining for the past two weeks but I expect it to operate the same. I will just be sitting in a more upright position.

How much did that raise your bars if you can tell in inches?
Did a dealer give you the advice or where did you get the idea those bars would fit? My dealer told me those bars would not work on my machine which is virtually the same machine you have, a 2011 RSS.

They probably won't work on your bike. The 2013 RS has different handlebars than 2012 and earlier RS/GSs. The 2013 RS bars are lower than the ST bars, but nearly identically styled.

Do you have any plans for your RS handlebar? I have an ST-S and was contemplating going in the other direction.

Read post #11 on my opinion if 2013 RS-S bars will fit earlier spyders or not. Afraid your on your own, I don't know if anyone has tried to go that route yet.

I replied to your PM.

Did you get rid of your RSS bars? If not I would like them to put them on my 2013 ST-S.
Thanks,
Carl

replacing my 2013 RSSE bars with ST-S bars
Can you tell me if you had any problem with the original throttle cable length when you switched to the ST-S bars

(fits in front and below center handlebar and covers ignition switch) will bolt to the bottom of the ST-S handlebar....So I'm hopeing I am not the first to try this and if there is someone out there that knows. Also RT handlebar should bolt on too...I am talking 2013 here, earlier bars are different....Oh, one more thing....Could the ST-S plastic center cover work instead?
