    I bought a 2013 ST at Spyderfest. Is the seat supposed to be waterproof? It seems to me like it isn't.

    No. No bike seats are water ph. You need to cove it when no riding or cover it when it Raines .look on the vendors here and will see a cover for it and you bike.
