Default Riding Video for April 2013

More riding time in April so more riding encounters to show you. Nobody died that I know of, but one of the car wrecks was pretty bad. Neither Cynthia nor I suffered any harm this month, thank the Lord! Below is a list of what is in the video and be sure to check out or web site for more info on our riding!

    Our bikes are:
    2012 Kymco Like 200i Scooter
    2012 Can Am Spyder RT-S SE5 Roadster

Our helmet cam is a Midland XTC 200 HD. See it here: http://goo.gl/d7E7p

What's in the video this month:
    1. Someone driving on the wrong side of the road!
    2. Dog attacks me, extremely close call! Yikes!
    3. Bad car wreck. Possible fatality.
    4. Another car crash, she rear ended a log truck.
    5. 3 dogs attack me while I was riding!
    6. Goats by the road... I like goats.
    7. Someone ran a red light - whoops!
    8. 3 car pile up, not sure of any injuries.
    9. Massive red light runners! Shame shame.
    10. Buzzards in the road, one flies with me.

You seem to have some very interesting rides...
Next time you've got loose goats in the road; grab one and take it back to those three Hooligan dogs. That might take some of the wind out of their sails...

Good video, thanks for sharing. I am curious as to how many hours of video you had to wade through in order to get those clips?

My camera will record about 3.5 hours on a full charge. If something happens on a ride, I simply reach up and turn the camera off then back on. This forces a new video to begin and thus the things I wish to save are always at the end of said videos. I edit the videos to save the incidents I wish to keep the day I record them and save them in a folder. At the end of the month, I merge all the little saved videos into one and post them online. I use VideoPad as my editor. All in all, it doesn't take a lot of time. The biggest time consuming task is actually downloading the video files from the camera to the computer via USB. Thankfully, I can start them and walk away to return later when they are done.

I have a lot of other videos on my YouTube Channel.

Stopping the camera after something happens makes a lot of sense and is something I never thought of. That would definitely make it much easier to find those clips. Thanks for sharing that tip.
