I made it home safe and dry. It was a wet week, but just had to make the best of the situation and enjoy the new friends and the old friends.

    Default HOME----

Elembytes and his better half- made it home safe and sound as well.

Sadly- I still had enough drive in me to mow for a couple of hours----still got more to go and that is with a tractor and a 6 foot mower. Sheesh! Tis Spring

Thanks for the threat and caring about all of us- who got to spend time at Spyderfest and some of us- our very first one!

It's back to work tomorrow and dealing with students for both of us, but were thankful to be able to experience this- even with 2 days of rain!

Sun finally came out around 12:30 today--just as we were pulling out of town!

Thanks to all who we got to meet and some new friends too.

I am sure Ozark's Mouth's dropped when all of us Spyders cruised their streets!!!!! Gave them a big kick-start for spring!

The meals and fireworks were fantastic.

Thank you again- to all of MOGANG- Len and Lamont-(Who I really had hoped to have met and to shake his hand which I didn't. Very disappointed on that one but did snap a picture of him from a distance)

Just FYI- The Holiday Inn-Express on St. Louis Street- even though it was off the beaten trail and we were like the ONLY Spyder staying there, the hotel was very clean-comfortable and just a very nice place to have stayed.

Looking forwards to 2014- and the 2nd chapter in the "NEW ADVENTURE" and changes that I am sure will be inevitable.

God Speed- and God Bless to all don't let the END of SPYDERFEST 2014- mean the end of keeping in touch and moving forward!

6 days, 4 destinations, 2 events (Spyderfest and the Knights of Columbus TN State Convention) and 1015 down in the books! It was a trip with wet, dry and cold conditions... but no breakdowns so enjoyed every minute of it! Now to return to the routine... Sigh!! Thanks MoGang and the Pit Crew... not to mention all my brothers and sisters in Spyderfest!!!

Leira (Dentin028) made it earlier than me... she left Springfield at 8:45am and got home at 2:30pm. My KofC Convention was over at 1 but went to visit my Mom in Columbia, TN so I got home (after taking the scenic Hwy 100 route from Linden to Whiteville) at 6pm.

Indiana Pearl and myself made it back a couple hours ago! Seems we just missed the rain, the roads were wet but not us! Didn't see the sun all day and it never got over 59 degrees, but it was an enjoyable ride.

I rode partly home with Spyderpops and Terri down Hwy 65 and really got to test my new Elkas with Ron's SwayBar. Woohoo!! I love it. We rode hard down one stretch of 65 right before Marshall, twisting and turning, sun was shining, and right at the bottom a huge tom turkey flew out in front of me. Not close enough to even touch the brakes, but close enough to make my jaw drop! Oh, man. I was grinning from ear-to-ear. Spent the rest of the drive soaking in the sun and thinking of all the conversations and face-time with friends.

Got home about 3:30 and crashed for almost 2 hours. Good to be home after an amazing, very memorable event. MOGang and Pitbull rocks!

Linda and I made it home yesterday around 4:00 PM after leaving PitBulls around 11:30. Saw no rain, only clouds, all the way into St.Louis. Chloe (our kitty) has been stuck like glue to us since we got in! Hopefully see many of you again at the Owners Event in June!

Thumbs up Teddy made it home right around midnight last night

We are home, safe & sound, tho I be a lil bit deaf now. Good times with even better ppl. A BIG Thanks of Appreciation goes out to ALL those that helped to make our trip what it was, and you know who you are.

All the folks at PitBull PowerSports & the MoGang should be proud of what they accomplished. Even tho the weather didn't cooperate, I'm sure we weren't the only ones to come away from the event with a new appreciation of all that goes into it, all the fun and friends we got to meet, some for the first time, and many again THANK YOU ALL

Oh, BTW.......... If anyone that attended the wedding at the Lake House (Congrats again by the way) and you took pics, and if you by chance got any of Teddy being the Ring Bearer, I would really appreciate seeing them. I never got to take any myself, and sure would enjoy seeing the lil guy in action again You can post here, on Teddys Adventures 2013 Thread or PM me, whatever works best for you

Mike and I made it home safe and sound, too. Patti Bear and her brother Dave also home.

What a great time to visit with everyone, meet new Spyder friends, and ryde....well, almost ryde if it didn't rain so much. LOL

Love the new location in Springfield -- in an urban area, but not a large metro spot AND sooooo close to rural and country roads --AWESOME!!!

Already looking forward to next year's event!!!

Made it home late yesterday afternoon. A tad bit cold, but it felt good to ride since I did not get much in during the past two weeks.

    Thanks for posting G-Man

Easist way to back up a trailer is put your hands at the BOTTOM or the steering wheel ( thumbs are pointing) the direction you want the TRAILER to go turn the steering wheel the direction your thumbs are facing.Go Left turn the bottom to the left. (Or as a clock with the time going left---- right goes against the clock) I can back up any trailer EXCEPT the darn Spyder Trailer ------NO STEERING WHEEL!!!!!

We made it home safely about midnight. Our son became ill Saturday night during the events at Vendor Village and was vomiting most of the way home. I am glad we trailered the Spyders as there is no way he would have been able to ride for the 16+ hours it took to get home. Heavy rains in Alabama and Georgia had 8 vehicles wrecked in the median, 1 pickup truck off the road and hanging in the trees, 4 mile back up just after the closed I-20 interchange near Birmingham, 1 3 car wreck with a car upside down, and 2 other wrecks that I counted. The trip home was anything but uneventful to say the least. I am just glad nobody decided to take aim at the trailer and I was able to keep it between the lines all the way.

I had a great time at SpyderFest, but think I may need to extend the trip next year or at least not go to work before attempting to drive all the way there.
    Very Happy Spyder Ryder!

Mcduffa and I made it home. Dry the whole way for once.

The rain limited the riding to 1600 miles (2400 miles last year) but had fun all the same.

Made it home around noon today. Held over in Eureka Springs Sunday night. Headed south to 412 on some pretty twisty roads that gave me the chance to put the Elka's to work. They, along with the Ultimate seat, are keepers! Beautiful weather for the morning ride. Glad to be home!

SZ-Spydie and I pointed her RT and my so-called "little" (ahem!) black Suzuki back toward KC about 2 minutes before Baymont Inn's noon check-out time on Sunday. Great weather riding down on Thursday and great weather going back on Sunday made the "juicy liquid center" a lot easier to shrug off.

Arrived home safe and sound, unpacked the bikes, picked up the mail from our neighbor and the dog from the "pet resort" ...and then all three of us collapsed on the couch.

Thanks to everyone, especially the other KC Spyder Ryders. Glasspyder and her Harley-ridin' hubby (to paraphrase Top Gun) "can be our wingmen any time."

    We loved it all.

...But I have to admit, I was imagining myself on a 2013 RS-S the whole way home... [cue ominous soundtrack music]

Bruisersbaby and I got home a short while ago. Had a hard rain last night just west of Knoxville then hit a 4 mile backup. Was lucky enough to get a trucker to let us move over to get off I40 and stop at Sevierville for the night. Left out about 0730 this morning, foggy off and on. Light showers off and on around Raleigh/Durham, 70f. Got home to a newly resurfaced road, thank you NCDOT, rolled in and caught a man in our house. It was our neighbor who came over to feed the felines and pick up our mail. By the way, the rain and overcast we are getting is what was in MO. last week. Just can't get a break. Rest up everyone. BB will be posting picks on GOS I'm sure.
