    Dr. Buck--on price, my understanding was that Pitbull did free installs, the initial price I heard was $199 for just the relocators. They are VERY well made and IMO, they are worth the price and not that tough to install.

    I had the same problem with clearance of the Elka shock springs after changing the angle of the shocks with the relocator brackets, as shown below. Solved it with a little trimming of the plastic.

    I called and ordered a set. $189. I also ordered a set of Elkas. So much for being done spending money on farkles.

    Jacked mine up today to remove lower shock bolts and grind some plastic away. Quick and easy..Good thing too as I noticed that the right shock bolts nut was only on about a quarter turn and never tightened. Good part was that the even though there was about a full inch between the nut and the shock bushing, the bolt was all the way in and never moved due to the weight/tension on it.

    Even though I now have clearance with the plastic I'm still getting a clicking sound. Got someone underneath with light while I moved it back and forth, turned bars and rocked it. Actually sounds like it's coming from the plastic just below the instrument cluster when turning the handlebars. Started noticing it right after installing the shock relocators BUT it seems unrelated. Anyone else having this problem?? thx

    what tufferware must be removed to do the install?, could not access pitbull's install video, thanks for the aid.

    This is one of the adapters with the supplied fasteners.



    Installation

    1. Jack up the bike so the front wheels are off the ground.
    2. Remove the bolts that hold the shock on and remove the shock.
    3. Install the adapter and insert the M10 Hex Head Cap Screw but leave it loose.
    4. Left side only, partially insert the M10 SHCS into the inner hole where the original shock mount is to locate where to cut the air horn and using cutting pliers cut two notches one on either side of the screw.
    5. Using pliers bend down the tab on the air horn and install the screw and nut but do not tighten the nut all the way.
    6. Install the shock and insert the screws then tighten all the nuts.




    Edit: it helps to lower the bike till the front wheels just touch the ground to get the shock bolts out, then jack it back up and remove the shock.

    Best to do it while the shocks are off.

    I didn't have to trim anything with the stock shocks or the Elka's but if there is some variation in how the plastic parts are trimmed then some might have to.

    Red face Shock relocators

    I put the set I ordered last weekend and what a difference I feel wind buffeting to my body but the spyder just rydes like it is on rails and sits right on the line I put it on when going through the corner....love it.

    Will these make a difference on my 2011 RS? I Have already install Baja ron sway bar and upgrade to stock rt front shocks.

    I had an upper end link connection that loosened up...

    Pop up the lower a-arm cover if you need to get to it!

    I have a RT and noticed a difference when I installed the re-locators after installing the BajaRon sway bar. The difference was noticed on the hwy with cross winds and behind trucks IIRC.

    Same for me Bob. SpyderPop cured mine when they installed my RonBar at SpyderFest 13. Had two dealers fail to diagnose the noise before that. Thanks Harvey.

    Dunno about the RS but installing them after the BajaRon sway bar on my 2012 RT made a positive difference in stability. I noticed it mostly on the highway.

    Len posted a couple weeks ago, a video on the PitBullPowersports youtube channel on how to install the relocators
    RS - 55K+ miles, F3 - 200 miles and counting.

    I installed them on my 2011 RTs and the difference was immeadiately apparent, much less buffeting felt by the bike even when I feel it.
